atlanta cutlery - "bush knife blade"

Has anyone purchased or used one of these unfinished blades from Atlanta Cutlery?

They are supposedly high carbon steel, and 3/16" thick.

I would like to purchase one, as I like the designs. However, I would like to know how well they perform. Any info would be great.

They're... Atlanta Cutlery. They're made in India and probably not terribly good steel. Not terribly bad, either, I'm sure, and if you are, say, beginning knifemaker, it sounds like a grand idea to start from if you're going to be making kits or something, but it's not really quality work.
