Anyone have one? My best friend got me that one and the full size throwing 'hawk for a birthday present like a year ago. I love the full size one, but I put the mouse one is his closet and reciently re-discovered it. I don't remember it throwing very well, or rather, sticking well. It has a pretty thick blade that doesn't let it dig in quite right. Anyone else have this problem, or maybe know how to fix it?

On a different note, even if it fails as a thrower, as an off-hand weapon, it's pretty sweet. Light and fast as it is, that 2" blade can get a lot of torque behind it. Not only that, it makes a pretty good blocker.

Wow... I'm sitting here playing with it right now. I just took the head off (it isn't on there very good, I'm gonna have to do somethign about that [suggestions again welcome]), and fliped it over so the the bottom part of the blade (the beard-ish side) is pointing up. That might make it stick a little better since there is more of a point. I guess we'll see...

If you can put the head on upside down then it must not be a very nice hawk, and nice one has a tapered head that makes it physically impossible to remove the head from the top. This is my favorite tomahawk feature as it prevents centripital force from removing the head, unlike an ax or hatchet.

Well, it doesn't seem to have a very defined taper inside as far as snugging up when you slide the handle down through the eye at the top.
