I know there is a thread in the general discussion area but I just wanted to find out who is going to the show to buy materials?? What?? From Whom??
If there is any $$$$$ left over, What knife??
What makers do you want to meet??
I hope to pick through some stag and bone at the Universal Angencies booth and others. Maybe Rob Simonich will have some Talonite at special show prices

I would also like to pick up some Damascus for some upscaled Hunters.
I look forward to meeting everyone that I've done business with, IN PERSON.
I look forward to meeting the moderators from this forum in addition to MANY others!!
I don't have any special knives in mind. I doubt I will have any money left after my shopping excursion for materials! If I do, I may just put a deposit on another Bill Simons multi blade!!
I'll be there early friday morning trying to get the best pickin's!

Going to Atlanta.. any ideas of the best way to get there if you are coming in from the North on I75

see you there

The show is about 1/2 mile off I-75. You need to exit right at I-285 but stay on the service road going west. At the next light take a left, go under I-285 and the Galleria is right there on your left.

Neil, I'll be next to Masecraft at table 12C. They always have some very nice stag scales, and are nice folks to do business with. If you like woods, there are some great stabilized wood suppliers there. Stop by, I'll point you at some. Devin Thomas is usually set up next to K&G with his Damascus. BTW, he will weld on tangs for $15 so you don't have to bury $20/inch steel under a handle.

The gator hides are already sold out, Tom. Will you settle for one with the gator still in it? Copperheads and Water Mocassins are nice this time of year too. The variety is nearly endless. So many critters, so little time...

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!http://www.nebsnow.com/L6steel

Jerry,
I'm very familiar with Masecraft. I used to drive to there location in CT when I lived in NY!! I should have made the effort to vist RJ Martin while is was right there also!! That was dumb

There is a flattened Gator right down the road from me! If anyone wants him, I'll be glad to pick him up with a spatula and bring him to the Blade Show!!

TOM,
Are your Millenium Bowie knockoffs going to cost less or more than Jerry's originals??
