Atlantic Salt - Dyed green - glow powder/paint

Awesome. I really like the glowing logo. Will that wear off quickly if you are using it a lot?
 
I am not entirely sure yet Pokerchip, we'll just have to give it some time and see how it does. It'll be one of daily user for a while and I am sure it will get put through its paces. If it fails I will update this thread.
 
You could probably mix that powder in a clear epoxy and make it more permenant.
 
yeah, if it wears out i may go the epoxy route, this is just a thick paste from some powder mixed with clear flinger nail polish (being very powder heavy) it was quite workable and seems to have hardend in there pretty well overnight. Since fingernail polish is acetone based I think it may have "welded" in there pretty good with the FRN
 
actually, I just looked it up, nylon seems to be resistant to acetone, so I don't think the "weld" idea would be valid. However, it would make it much easier to clean up and remove this paste with just nail polish remover. I used nail polish instead of epoxy to begin with for ease of application. After about 3 minutes i was able to clean up the application with razor, that is how it level with the spider and text, but does not cover it up. Then I just let it harden. I was afraid if i used epoxy and it got on somewhere I did not intend, it could turn into a real botch job.
