Can anyone help me with a part number? I need to replace a mitre gear which travels on the lead screw. The machine is a 10-F.

Shoot, I had a lengthly reply I typed in and accidently closed the window. Ok, to recap, checked all my online sources and other then knowing that it was manufactured between 1937 and 1959, you can be more specific by checking dates engraved on the bearings, I wasn't able to find alot. Not technically the full model number. Though digging around I came across this one which might be it (Sear's model) with a parts list. http://www.owwm.com/pubs/detail.asp?id=601 Though I wasn't sure because 101 is the prefix for Atlas, whereas the 109 that this one starts with (109.21270) is Double AA for the manufacturer. But I also see references on other sites to 101.21270 so perhaps Atlas had Double AA manufacturer some under there name to meet demand for Sears. Atlas still exists and you can call them, http://www.atlas-press.com/OldProducts.htm ,the sites under construction unfortunately.

Dunno if any of this helped, or if you already went these routes, but good luck -MJ
