Maybe you could convince Sal to do a Sprint run, half G10 and half Ti, with S30V?:thumbup:

I carry the SS ATR very often, have to say it's my favorite spyderco. A marvel of engineering. I like it better than the Military and S30V Manix.

I have one and like it a lot. Unfortunately, it's the SE version and I really do not like the serrations. If it was plain edge, it would get a lot of pocket time.
imho the Ti ATR isnt only the best spydie made but possibly one of the best production folders around, its the only production i ever carry anymore and i have a few to pick from lol.
i really like 'em, good materials, Ti & S30V, ergonomic grip, thin, lite, carries well, i even like the pocket clip (a lot dont) and the cobra hood (again, a lot dont), if i had tto live with just one folder i could do just fine with a Ti ATR.
SS ATR? still good, not as good as the Ti, but still one of the better folders around.
i have 2 PE and 1 SE Ti ATR's, and a SE SS too, its the only knife i have multiples over 2 of.

In terms of fit and finish, aesthetics, and lock security, its hard to beat.
However, in my testing and use, the very deep and aggressive scallops in the SE version snag on damn near everything, especially cloth and bubble wrap.
If you get one, get the PE.

It's a great design, one of my faves.
Wow!! that would be the "cat's meow" turned up on high volume
!! One other thing I would add to that would be the original Titanium handle. Don't get me wrong because I have 3 Spyderco SS users in my EDC arsenal but when it comes to metal handles I truly love Titanium the best. A Ti handled, S90V ATR. That's a great one to put on any Spyder-head's wish list. Almost as good as a Massad Ayoob with a CF handle and ZDP blade
