Anyone here know the differences between these stainless steels and the pros and cons of them when compared to each other?

Thanks,
Thor

I do not know anything about CPA-N steel other than that Dietmar Kressler uses it. ATS-34 and RWL-34 have pretty much the same chemical makeup. RWL-34 is made by the powder metallurgy method and may be a little better than ATS-34 because of a finer grain structure.

Keith, you know your stainless. Impressive.

Anthony,

Why do the letters "CPA" give you the chills?

Thanks,
Thor

It was a joke, in that CPA stands for Certified Public Accountant-the friendly people who do your audits.

Ahh, thanks for the clarification. Yes, I am officially dense now :o .

Maybe I didn't get it because I actually really like my CPA. I have known him for many years and he is a friend of the family.
