ATS-34 Your comments please

I have two knives of ATS-34. One is a Rob Simonich kit Cetan Tanto that I edged and sharpened myself (along with everyting else but grinding and heat treating), and the other is a folding paring knife, AKA Benchmade Mini-Spike ;-) Anyway, I really haven't fallen in love with the material. For starters it seems hard to get a proper edge. Also, it seems to actually cut better and sharper than it feels. ATS-34 always seems dull to me to the touch, but then it cuts okay. It seemed to take a nice satin finish, though, and I have had no rust problems. I prefer my knives of D-2 so far, but I have more of them and use them more as a result.
