Att. Bushcraft Guys!!!

I have just noticed a thread called "Inquiry about the Sibert162 Bushcrafter." and it's already a few pages long: so it may have the information that you are looking for!

This thing doesn't look all that pretty at first glance but its growing on me.

This and the Adamas lab video are very convincing.

I have owned one for six months and love the thing holds a edge haven't had to sharpen it yet and get a lot of use . I carry it everyday and everywhere waiting on a kydex sheath but its a great knife

The same can be said for most knives that are classified as "Bushcraft". However, there are a few that are exceptional, and this one looks to fit in that category. I don't see many other companies doing these videos regarding their knives. While it's not a necessity, it's interesting to see the failure points.

Been considering one of these or a Busse. Has anyone compared the two? I know theres a price difference.

Agreed. I prefer Kydex/Concealex sheaths over leather, but yes, the black finish does look better. Nice work!

Received my 162 last week and I'm really impressed. After reading about some folks having issues with the handle ergos I was skeptical. No longer a concern as the 162 is very comfortable in hand. Picked mine up at Cutlery Shoppe for $127 + shipping. Couldn't resist any longer at that price. And they just got a fresh batch in stock for anyone wanting one.

ETA: This is my first Benchmade and I'm hooked... Shane Sibert knows how to design knives!

I love the knife, but am disappointed with the sheath. Anyone know of a nice aftermarket Kydex sheath?
