Hi Raptor I got an email from combattech and they do have a video on push dagger fighting/self-defense for $30... I e-mailed them back and asked if they could give me more info on it... I haven't heard of them after that, maybe you got more luck... check it out!

ps. the push dagger in face/off have you seen that scene? that's gotta be the pushdagger 1 it's got quite a big blade... saw it last night (it's only visible very briefly)

Hey there Chariot,
Thanks for posting your info on the video search. I may contact them to buy one of these videos when I can get the chance.

As far as "Face Off" goes, I don't even recall that scene. And that's surprising because I usually am always pointing out knives in movies. Just ask my wife. She'll tell you.
I guess I'm going to have to rent that one again. I wonder what excuse I can use to convince the litlle lady to rewatch it.
Gee......Thanks alot Chariot!!!!
See what you started???

Hi Raptor... you don't have an email on your info... so ill contact you this away again (since I allready started this thread, and this info might be usefull for others as well)

I heard from combattech again and they write:

"The "Pushdagger" video was made by James Keating quite a few years ago.
It is about the combative use of the pushdagger. The video shows several methods
of use, including trapping, boxing, locks, ect"

maybe worth getting?

as for face/off the scene is a few secs - max. when travolta is about to arrest cage at the end of the hangar scene..

regards
chariot
