Thanks to Cricketdave for showing me a pic of how he attached a molle pouch to his sheath! Here is how I attached mine.... I ordered the ESEE/Rat 4 sheath set (sheath, molle back and pouch w/tin) from TKC, great company!! Using the second set of holes from the top of the sheath I attached the top of the tin pouch using the longer set of screws that comes with the molle back. The bottom holes of the pouch I used a piece of cord to thread it through and tie it in back of the lower holes of the sheath.

Here's what the set up looks like all together.

In the tin I kept it simple using the kit that comes with the Izulas, ESEE Navi cards, Leatherman tool, a couple small led lights and a Streamlight with a green bulb for night time reading maps, etc.

Nice pics, hopefully getting hands on a pouch soon

Now you only need to attach a FireKit with some tinder in the waterproof container and you're good to go

How do you like the Stylus Pro Buckmaster? Thought about something like that cause I had the idea of having a green LED with me to preserve nightvision as best as possible... Right now I am running a Fenix LD20 as main source of light when I'm out in the great outdoors so I am lacking a small low-lumen light :p

Inked,

What kind of a pouch is that? I do not have the Molle back for my 4, but would get one to be able to also carry a bit of kit with me.

Nice kit! I swear I'm going to end up with every variation of the 4. The DT I thought was going to be the next for sure, but that OD w/ orange G10 just keeps growing on me.

You definitely need a mini Bic and some tinder in there. You could put the paracord somewhere else on the sheath to make room in the tin for a large sewing needle and some thread or even better some fishing bank line that can be used as cordage or seperated in to strong single threads for clothing and gear repairs.

After that, it's just a matter of changing the contents as you find cool little extras to add in. That's the nature of kit, a constant evolution!

The Stylus Pro regular lights I use everyday at work, it's a bright light for how small it is and I beat the crap out of them. This one with the green bulb... it takes getting used to, but liking it when it's real dark outside, the green is'nt to bright and does'nt reflect as much as a white bulb.

Yes it is the 5/6 molle pouch. It took me a little while to figure how to attach it just right, the lower holes do not align just right with the sheath. One day I'll prob contact one of the many sheath makers on here and get a kydex sheath made so that the molle back and pouch attach together just right, oh yeah and have them make a firesteel attachement :D

I do have the firesteel from the Izula kit. I do have a few ESEE/Rat fire kits and one will go with this knife. I attach the knife to my pack and keep my fire kit, maps, etc in it. I agree, the OD blade takes time getting used so do the orange scales... I figure it's easy to find while out and I drop it

Oh yes it is!! It took me a couple hours just to figure that small amount of stuff in the tin ha ha. I def want to get some snare wire, fishing line and hooks, etc etc etc in there. I need a small RAT pack..... one day they will be available again  *sigh* ha ha. Or I'll just get a small pouch from Maxpedition.

Or I'll just get a small pouch from Maxpedition.

The Anemone and Barnacle both work well in this role. Some of the waist pouches might work also (depending on size).

I'm currently working on a configuration with my Ontario 12. I picked up a hard sheath for the Ontario 18 and cut it down to fit the 12. Then I melted the bottom closed. I left a small opening for a drainage hole and put two extra holes through the sheath to run 550 cord through.

To attach the pouch...I'm working on ideas. For my first run, I used an Anemone pouch, attached the MaxPed tac-ties to the pouch, and used a combination of zip ties, 100 mph tape, and some 550 cord to secure it to the hard sheath. It works OK, but I'm going to try attaching MOLLE locks to the sheath.

I'll post some pics when I get my camera back.

I think to attach a MaxPed pouch to an ESEE 4 sheath, running 550 cord, zip ties, or similar through the sheath eyelet holes then through the PALS channels on the pouch might work well.

The Anemone would work for a 3 or 4 in a Molleback setup.

You can get some zip ties to use that will be pretty hard to break. Set up multiple zip ties if you think it might come off. The Anemone is a good size to have on a smaller knife like the 3 and 4.

I think you could sub zip-ties for the bottom two holes and just thread them through whichever hole is closest to the one on the 5/6 Pouch. Two screws, two zip ties would work well. I'm in the process of Zip Tie-ing up loose straps on my new MaxPed Falcon. It's working quite well.

Thats a nice setup. I used a tactical tailor pouch attached with the Molle locks.

Yeah I was looking into either one of the small add on pouches like the barnacle, 5x7, etc. But am also looking into the Versipacks. I've had the some of the gear slingers before, but more looking for something that's more of a heading out for a couple hours pack. I'm also waiting for when the molle panel is available for the Junglas, I might just attach my 4 or one of my 3's to that.

I like the Jumbo Versipack.

The Molle Panel for the Junglas is going to be awesome. If you don't have a 3 or 4 strapped to that sucker I'd be disappointed!

Oh I have an ESEE 3 waiting for it :D. That's if I dont attach one of my 4's to it. Also been checking out the Lost mountain Iron Works sheath set up for it.

A fellow member asked me if I could show the difference between the Streamlight and a regular led light. Here's some pics....
