I've never owned a khukuri, but am looking at adding one to the collection. Just out of curiosity, has anyone attached a khukuri to a molle gear backpack? Is it easy to do?

I would think it would be easy with some inner tube bands or some 3 mil utility cord.
Some 12 inch backpack straps would work as well.

That's probably the way I would go as well, bicycle innertube and some of those big "ziptie" molle attachments. That would hold all ,but the heaviest khuk.

I would go for a kydex scabbard with the appropriate tek-loc or malice clips... On my big pack, even the original large scabbard fits very well in the ski slot, and I can even draw it with the pack on. Re-sheathing it is a different story, I like my ears too much.

Unfortunately, I could stand to have a good bit sheared off of my ears. They're quite impressive.

If you are of Farengi descent, I might pay you to come to the Khuk campout this spring. ;)

A leather sheath with Extra loops works great for mounting a knife to a pack.

How's about a simple sheath with extra loops on the back:

I post these to give you more ideas as to what is possible. :) Good luck with your search for a sheath for your Khukuri,
