attaching magnets to leather

I really like using magnets for retention, but have yet to find an adhesive I trust.
What have you found that works? Loctite ten minute epoxy works great....sometimes....

I've sandwiched and glued the magnet between two layers of thin leather..between the magnet being glued to leather on both sides, and the leather glued together around it, it's held up very well.
I've made a neck sheath this way with the knife in the up-side-down position......rock solid.

Yeah, it's a great addition to small knife sheaths- I'll do that on the next one. Thanks!
