question,is it even possible to attach micarda to titanium scales!must you mill the scales out and then glue the micarda to scale,some thing like a chris reeve knife,looking for a little better grip,thank you.
The simplest way may be epoxy. Roughen the heck out of the inside of the scales so the epoxy can get some purchase on the scales. As long as the Ti is super clean (use carburetor cleaner or shellac thinner) it shouldn't be an issue adhering to the metal.
The traditional way is drill both; thread the Titanium. You can counter bore the scales so the heads of the screws are below the surface of the scales.
No need to mill the scales unless you want to hide the Titanium and since it is nice to look at, in my opinion, it is OK to just layer rather than mill.
