I'm making some scales for my Victorinox Spartan out of bloodwood. I managed to get the insignia off the original scales and was wondering what is the best method to attach it to wood scales. I don't think I'll be using any wood finish on the scale, maybe just some mineral oil as a protectant. Krazy glue? 5 minute epoxy?

The shield should be inletted flush with the scale. After inleting, any epoxy will secure it.
