Attaching your edc gadgets...

Looking into decent ways to keep track of or attach my pocket edc (flashlight, small SAK, keys, etc.). Wanted a way to have them bulked together to make them more secure, but easily detachable. Considering adding lobster claws to a heavy duty ring, or multiple items with rings on a carabiner, etc.

Anyone have tips or products that are more heavy duty than you would find on the "giant internet river store"? I know Maxpedition Pocket EDC holders will come up, but I don't think that is a solution I want to employ.

Pics and advice appreciated, and thanks in advance!

One thing I used for a couple years was the Victorinox belt clip with chain. I took off the long chain and added another short chain onto the existing short chain. This allowed for a lobster claw half way down and at the very end which helped me index tools at different lengths. I kept my pen, USB flash drive, and (can't remember) on the first claw half way down, and my LM Squirt, mini flashlight, and nail clippers on the second claw at the end.

For the past few months I swapped that out with a camera belt pouch I picked up at Best Buy on sale for cheap:

However, now I'm searching for something smaller as I am rotating in a separate knife pouch again. I've been thinking about speedloader belt pouches...

Another idea I see people use is a pocket organizer which has areas for multiple items. I'm sure some people will chime in with pics of this.

Have you looked at the aircraft cable key rings? They work well with small split rings for individual items or the small s-biners. Bison Design makes a great product also.

Go kn Etsy and look around for a wallet or pocket organizer for them. Extremely popular and classy.

Seriously. Most of the time I carry my EDC stuff in my pockets. I do have some stuff on my keychain.

I also carry a go bag if I'm going out of town, to work, or more than 25 miles from home.

I keep 2 mini Leathermans on a larger keyring----plus a Mossberg choke tube wrench(no longer have the Mossberg but the tool is very useful for all sorts of things)--a Maglite Solitaire and various keys------------car keys and keyless entry are on a separate keyring.

I attach everything to a brass Smoky Sumi kaijin hook, which slips around one belt loop and dangles stuff into my right rear pocket. Everything clumps up nicely and the pocket keeps it all from jangling.

I keep things organized with three TEC Python clips: house keys on one, truck fob and flashlight on another, and truck key and bottle opener on the third. The one with the truck key is flipped over so it's easy to clip and unclip, since it gets used the most.
