"Attachments" and freeing space

My membership appears to allow me 500 pics. I looked today and found over 1000. I have pics going back nearly 10 years, and would like to go ahead and get rid of some of them. Is there a way to do this that is quicker than just one at a time?
I know this was a big thing a while ago, and I'm not looking to dredge up drama (because I don't feel any over this), and am not complaining. I'd just like to do it a bit quicker.

Why delete Anything???

just post your pictures via an outside party.
Not saying it's the best, but I use postimages.org

I feel its a bad thing if old photos get deleted!

Because one of the things about this site that I appreciate is that I don't need to use an outside party. I've always found them cumbersome and much more work. Not saying that can't be an option for me if I can't get it done here, but I'd much rather not...

I believe you still have to do it one at a time. I see nothing wrong with deleting old sales threads photos, but would try not to delete from other threads

If you decide to delete images you can save a little time using the browser “back” arrow after deleting an image. It will take you back to the page of your attachments index without scrolling through the pages again. It’s not much help but it might save a few seconds waiting for pages to load.

The image you just deleted will still show as a thumbnail because you haven’t refreshed the screen, so it can be a little confusing.

I ended up deleting a bunch of my images to have space to upload directly. I’ve looked at third party hosting and none provide an elegant solution and video performance is poor. I’m not entirely comfortable with some of the T&C’s also. Good luck.
