My latest Busse arrived this week (Thanks, Jay/Raden) and it is the anti-thesis of what most Hogs prefer. Rather than a portly 0.25" or even thicker, this NICK Variant Fighter measures out at a startlingly svelte 0.125". It is the first Busse that I have been able to bend just by my own hand strength.

Light and fast, it also has what has become my personal favorite of the Busse handle options, the unfortunately now-lost rope pattern. It also has the butt grind, which I like.

The scales are an unusual micarta. They appear to be the same as the ones PorkGunner identified as being used in the Desert Air Rescue knives (DARK?). It is a black and tan linen and looks very smart with the satin blade.
