Here's the run down on the Serial Numbered Anorexic Badgers. We made a total of 350 Anorexic Badgers. 163 were Serial Numbered Limited Editions and 187 were Desert models.
The serial numbers were mistakenly assigned to the ABLEs by their position on the "Total knives sold" list instead of the "Limited Edition Only" list. I consider this to be a ball fumble of nuclear proportions!
If you bought two or more ABLEs, the subsequent numbers were assigned by a very confusing numeric rotation that I am still not drunk enough to understand!

This is the first and last time that this numbering process will be used. It turns out to have been a miscommunication between the office and the laser room. Sadly, I was passed out under my desk at the time. This numbering process has NEVER and will NEVER be used again! The highest serial number assigned should have been #163 not #349, as was the case.
We do not have any way to remove the lasered serial numbers and renumber them. So, in keeping with Busse Combat's commitment to always make it more than right with our customers, we have come up with an "Oops we fumbled the ball" special offer.
For every ABLE that you purchased, you will be issued a $40.00 credit that is good towards the purchase of your NEXT regular priced Busse Combat knife. You can only use one credit towards each future knife you plan to purchase from Busse Combat and these credits are non-transferable. In other words, if you bought ten of the ABLE's you CAN use your ten $40.00 credits towards the purchase of ten Busse Combat knives. You CAN NOT combine the ten credits into one and have a $400.00 discount on a single Busse Combat Knife. Those who purchased ABLEs simply need to mention this $40.00 discount on their next purchase when ordering. This offer is only good when ordering directly from the Busse Combat Shop.
I hope this makes sense. We have been told by many that we do not need to do this, but I think it's only fair.
Also, this may have been the last serial numbered knife we ever make!
. . . . . . Just kidding. . . I'm sure that there will be more. . . I just need to get plenty of whiskey in da house before the next run!!!!
