Last year at a knife show, I wound up buying a small block of stabilized box elder burl? It sits on my desk. Looks great, but it's just a rectangular block of it. I had some idea about slicing some off if it and doing something with it. I have to admit, it looks better in the shape of an Mnandi scale ....

I decided to send an email to the gentleman at the shop about that Desert Ironwood Mnandi i'm interested in. He mailed me back at 09:07 (his time) saying that he would mark her as sold and keep until the next moon for me. How about that

That is an outstanding service in my opinion and I am in awe of it.

The idea of waiting nearly two months and then find it sold was, to be honest, not worth the fuss. So I thought of this request, thinking all he could do was say no.

So, thankfully now, all's well - just the usual wait Old fashioned shopkeeping on the internet - WOW
