First let me say this: YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO IS NOT IN ANY DANGER. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT CREDIT CARD SECURITY

Ok, here's the deal. Apparently Authorize.net has for some reason decided to switch their payment system from having things be in 2 decimal format to 4 decimal.

That means that Gold Memberships used to be processed as a 25.00 charge, and now are processed as a 25.0000 charge. Naturally this has broken the automated charge system and as a result, none of the memberships are going through now... or rather, they are going through, but they aren't activating because the Hash Check is failing because Authorize.net has broken our stuff.

So. I've reported this bug to vBulletin tech support and started a trouble ticket. This issue has affected all sorts of people across the web according to my quick google search on the subject. I don't know how long it will take to get resolved.

TEMPORARILY SOLUTIONS:
1. You can continue to use the automated system, it just won't be automated; I'll have to log in and manually change your profile. That could take hours or a day or two.
2. You can pay via paypal. Again, not an automated system, it'll take me a little bit to activate.
3. You can pay through the 1SKS cart here. Again, not automated, your membership will not usually be processed until the following business day.

THINGS NOT TO DO:
1. Hitting the back button and resubmitting the membership order. You'll get charged a 2nd time, and I'll have to void it off. If I don't see that 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) charge before it batches out that day, I'm going to assume you wanted additional membership years and you're membership will be longer.
2. Emailing me with your credit card info. NEVER DO THIS.
3. Sending Cash in the Mail. AGAIN, NEVER DO THIS.

Hopefully this will be resolved shortly.

Would I be correct in assuming that this only affects new membership payments, but those of us who paid months ago are okay?
 
Correct, this started around 15:00 yesterday.
 
Great, I JUST ordered a Gold membership and got the Hash Check Fail so I tried it again and it gave me another error BUT, I just got an email confirmation for one order so I assume it went through.

I used Authorize.net but, received an email from One Stop Knife Shop. I've only gotten one transaction ID so far so hopefully it only charged me once. I'd rather not have more than one year right now hehe.
It DID say after I got out and tried again that a Duplicate form had already been submitted so hopefully it only sent the one.
 
Looks like you only did it once, so you are good.
 
Looks like this MAY have been fixed. We'll see tomorrow
