If your ever in need of some paracord in various colors at a cheap rate, check out the folks at http://www.ubraidit.com/paracord.htm They have 30 different colors to choose from and are great to work with. I have ordered from them 3 times, each time only ordering 3 ft lengths of various colored cord. This time around I choose 20 different colors in 3 foot lengths and it ran me less than $10 shipped priority mail.

So, now that I hooked you guys up with a good supplier, someone please post some links to different ways to tie these bad boys. I haven't tied a standard "Reeve" style lanyard in about year and remember an illustration that helped last time. Thanks in advance

Gotta second boondoggleman.com
Kids site means easy to learn how to tie some of those things :D
Take Care!!!

Anyone know where to find lanyard material that is similar to the stuff used on Chris Reeve Sebenzas? It's almost like a boot lace, as opposed to the 'floofiness' of paracord.

I wonder how effective a small monkey paw would be at the end of a lanyard?

Maybe not for a knife but something like a stinger/keys for easy access?

If you notice, they call it 650 cord and not 550....From what I understand 550 cord is 550 lb breaking strength....They list 650 as 400 lb + ???
550 cord has 7 strands and this stuff has only 4...
Be carefull if you really need paracord to get the real stuff... and this is not it...
Nothing against using it for lanyard cords and the like...I just wanted you to know that that is not 'REAL' paracord(550 cord)
The real stuff even comes in forms with 9 or 12(11?) inner cords if you REALLY need strength! I bought a bunch of the stuff from a skydiving company, so I KNOW it is good stuff!(of course they only sell it in white:().
