Greetings-
There is a book forthcoming that will document Jimmy Lile, the Arkansas Knifesmith, and his world renowned knives. The book is written by Jack Lucarelli, a close person friend of the Lile family. The book will have a complete history of Jimmy from the day he was born until the day he moved on. It will also be packed full of vital and valuable information on the various models and quantities of knives made. All of the technical data comes out of Marilyns mind and all of the wonderful journals and record books which include the books on the First Blood and Rambo Knives. There are chapters on the Movie Knives, Bowies, Folders, Combat, Fighters, Fixed Blades, Rare and Unusual, Engraved Knives, Advertising Materials, Charts filled with how many of each model made etc. etc. etc. It will be a complete piece with leaving no stone unturned.
Several editions are available, from the standard version version to a serial numbered version. The serial numbered books are being done in the same manner as numbered LILE knives, to ensure thier value, and will surely compliment any LILE collection. Even if you don't own a serial numbered knife, the information contained within this book will be unparalled, and well worth the investment.
Although the book is not yet in production, you can get more information at:
