....and our Canadian brothers and sisters and friends in our surrounding states. The Wolverine Knife Collectors Club has a show this weekend Nov 18 & 19 at the K of C Hall, 870 N. Main St. Clawson, MI. One mile west of I-75, between 14 & 15 Mile Road.

So…..who’s all going?

I am trying to coordinate with fellow BF member DonL to try to find a place to meet for breakfast on the 18th before the show. As of yet a place has not been picked. If anyone is familiar with the area and has a suggestion please let us know.

For those of you who are going out to procure some tasty animals this hunting season this weekend and won’t be able to get to the show we will try to get together for a larger WKCC show on Jan 26-28.

Please post if you think you might be interested in meeting at or before the show so we can get a head count. If you’re a lurker you can email me at tmaciak@earthlink.net to let us know if you’re interested.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Take care,
Tom

There's a few places fairly close by that could accomodate a dozen or so wackos, but based on the lack of numbers, it wouldn't be possible to get a "back room" to play with sharp pointy things over toast and coffee.

There's a Denny's on Woodward about a block south of 12 Mile Road on the west side of the street.

Further up Woodward, around 12-1/2 Mile, is a Big Boy, also on the west side of the street.

Continuing north, on the west side again, just north of 13 Mile Road, is a Ram's Horn.

Further east, just off of 14 Mile Road across from Oakland Mall at I-75 is a Bob Evans.

This is the "big name" restaurants that I can think of, there's several smaller places, but they're small, busy, and crowded, and I'm sure we don't want to offend any sheeple as they nibble an omelette.

If we can't come up with a definite breakfast meet, then I would suggest a specific time to meet at the show and find a lunch spot afterwards, as our options may be more open at that time.

Any other thoughts or ideas?

Thanks for the info Don!

Nobody else? I know there's at least a dozen of you knuts out there. Come on post up!! We want to see you there.

Take care,
Tom

Also, I'm not sure which day I'll be able to attend yet, so we should probably try to pick a specific day as well as time or place to meet.

Which day, gang?

For me it's going to be Sat. the 18th. The wife is gone to a baby shower so I have a kitchen pass for the day

. As for a time I'm thinking around 9-10 a.m. to meet.

O.K. guys, how about the Big Boy on Woodward at 09:30.

Don, my map program maybe wrong, it shows the Big Boy at 13-1/2, regardless, were in the area if we do/don't find it at 12-1/2 there's got to be only one in that area.

I'll be there with a blue coat on, glasses and a cheesy mustache.

See you there.

Take care,
Tom

Tom, right you are, brain fart on my part. The Big Boy is indeed at 13-1/2.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to go until the early afternoon, so I'll keep an eye peeled at the show for the blue coat, glasses, and cheesy mustache.

I'll have my blue coat as well, and glasses, the Sebenza in my pocket, and either my Bladeforums or Chris Reeve T-shirt on.

Hope to bump into you guys there. I'm dying to check out that Armegeddon that Chad has.

Would love to join you guys but it's too far for me. Have a great time!

Alright guys, I'm out the door. See you at breakfast or at the show.

Hoodoo, we'll try this again for the show in Novi in January.

Take care,
Tom
