If you have a sportster and are having electrical or starting problems check your battery cables, especially your positive cable. What happens is they break down on the inside but look fine from the outside. This happened to betty and it took me a while and a new battery i didn't need. I don't know if it affects the newer models but I now it affects the older ones {betty is a 2000}. later,ahgar
