Attention tactical knife collectors...

I have serious doubts that that thing will actually stay attached to the gun when fired. Aside from staying attached to the gun when the gun is fired, the purpose of a bayonet is to stab. I doubt that that knife would stay attached to the gun in a stabbing attack.
 
Now I've seen everything. You'd have to be crazy to think a bayonet folder is a good idea. :barf:

It does have a lock, so it's not totally insane. My worry is about how it mounts to the gun. That just doesn't look good to me.
 
LOL.

I might of had too much to drink at the moment, but c'mon a folder bayonet? What a waste. I'd rather carry extra ammo than depend on that.
 
Actually, the knife was brought up before and I'm still waiting to see someone with the funds and desire to buy one, test it, and let the rest of us know its attributes.

Yeah, I know I'm expecting someone else to do something, but I'd think the knife would be of interest to someone at the moment, at least so that they would give it a try.
 
If you ran out of ammo and had to fight hand to hand with someone and all you had was your knife, having the ability to attach it like a bayonet would be a good thing. It happens to me at least once or twice a year. Seriously, I don't think it's that dumb of an idea if a soldier doesn't want to carry a fixed blade. Seems kind of gimmicky and I doubt it'll sell well but it's an interesting concept.
 
That is pretty neat. Bayonet lugs are very secure but I think this knife would fall apart on a bayonet assault course. I've been through one in the army but we used the smaller bayonets. I think they are called M7's and the bigger ones are M9's.
 
I think is cool.... in any case, not many of us will be part of a bayo charge so what the deal? It's cool!
 
I have to agree .. I kinda like it and may buy one just because it looks neat.. and is D2 steel:thumbup:
 
I dont know about the bayonet, but the folder looks kinda neat. Where and who is giong to carry it?
