Actually, back in my tweaker days I packed one full of powder gathered from pulling .44 mags a fastened it to an Estes rocket motor. I had removed the firewall plug from the motor so the propellant burns through the aft and hits the good stuff. Guidance was provided by fins from darts and a straw, both attached by hot glue. It launched and detonated successfully at approx 1000 ft.

We actually use these like crazy now that we make our own whipped cream at my workplace. I'll try to scrum some up.
