My weekend away has been cut short b/c of a morning obligation. I still want to get out this weekend and am going to but I'm sticking close by. Anyone in CT up for some training this weekend? I will announce a location later this week but it is CT and everywhere is close by.

I am up to doing a general skills day and teach newbies or go out, take a long hike or go out and push myself with some of the more skilled. I don't care how, I'm getting out.

So, anyone up for some training? Regardless of conditions I'll be out, will you? If interested, let me know!

This will be my "Christmas " weekend with my kids, so no way I can do it.

I'd love to hang out, but I'll be coming off 16 hours overnight call, and still have to put up lights, get a tree, etc... - the next couple of weeks are always hectic.

We got 12" of the powdery stuff yesterday, and we aren't going to work today. I made a pile this morning, this afternoon I'm going to hollow it out into a quinzee.

I am already looking into that spot. Good making coffee with you. Spoke to Joezilla on the way home and he remembered the Gossman 1000 lb tarp story well. Next time we'll do an overnight.
