ATTN: Kershaw Outcast now widely available

I like Kershaw a lot, but there's something about this knife that just doesn't do anything for me. Maybe the handle angle. The blade design is great though.

But as far as needing a big knife, I'll keep my RTAK.
 
I've got to admit, it doesn't grab me either.

Got to admit thought that it's a good price if you're looking for that sort of thing.

I got one a couple of weeks ago & it is a excellent chopper & razor sharp out of the box :eek: I chopped lots of fire wood for the boy scouts on our outing.
I also used a mallet & split a bunch of large logs with it. The edge held up well as did the coating.

True it is made in China (says on the Blade) but cripes is not D-2 the same over there as it here or at least close.

Also at least it is not a knock off, it is a Ken Onion design !!!!! :eek:

I think it is a whole lot of knife for the money even at the MSRP of 100.00
the sheath is even top notch for a factory sheath, Heck I would charge 50.00 for the sheath.

So if the internet low ball/whore it out sites are selling them at around 54.00 I say you can not go wrong. :D Lots of value for the dough

I like the Echo. But now that I think about it, we haven't had one in since Christmas. This is a problem. I have to remember to put an order in for some when I get back. Maybe we can pick up that Outcast as well! I wouldn't mind to try a little before I buy.
And oh yeah am I gonna buy the Outcast.

low ball whore house........ I thought it was called capitolism offering a product at the best price and making a profit. I just got mine in today from New Graham after getting a courtesy email telling me they were out and that it would ship on mon or tues. Apparently they are soooo popular they cant be kept in stock. After handleing mine I gotta say it's a sweet blade, light enough to handle machete work but heavy enough to chop and the handle fits my medium sized hand great. Hey I love New Graham they offer knives at prices I can afford with great shipping prices and awesome customer service.
