Anyone interested in knives, the outdoors, survival, primitive skills or the old fashioned way should read Backwoodsman Magazine. This magazine is a huge resource for knowledge and great stories. Especially for some of our older forum members, and could teach the younger ones a few things. It's not a media filled piece of crap. This is a real sit down and read the whole thing magazine. In the Sept/Oct issue it features a home heat treating furnace on pages 45-47. There's even a nice pic of a Kershaw and Chris Reeves knife on page 25. Charlie Richie, who runs the mag, is an awesome guy who sticks with what he believes and refuses to sell-out. And if you're not in it to read it, there are 28 different kinds on knives for sale on the back cover.
