  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Attn: Ray Laconico!!

I have to second the fixed blade notion. I just saw the damascus hunter from last year's Pasadena expo - absolutely stunning; my new grail.

I've handled more than a few of his Bowies...what a treat. But you have to wait for Ray to make one on his timetable, when the mood strikes.

Yes, a Laconico bowie sounds great and I'd love to own one too. In fact I once owned a stag handled one but I had to sell it because I needed the money.

Seriously though, since I'm a full time knifemaker and this is how I make a living I have to do what is most profitable for me. Folders are the great sellers for me and I still enjoy making them.

I saw one at his table during the Pasadena show this year. It was already sold by the time I got there.

Ray I hear you on the living thing. We all gotta walk that line. IF you are ever feeling like making a Bowie. Email me first or I will have to start drinking.......more. ;)
