...does anyone know what the Christmas music channel is on? They said once on their preview channel, but I haven't heard since.

How about a quick review of the Sirius satellite radio? I'm interested, but need input from those with experience.

thanks . . .

By the way...I found the Xmas station. Channel 4, FYI.

Sirius is AWESOME...I just bought a system for the shop today. First, you need a receiver (about $80), then another medium by which to deliver the signal (radio or home docking station/boom box). I bought the Boom Box for $99. You pop the receiver into the boom box, hook up the antenna and plug it in (or put in 6 "D" batteries). You have a variety of sports, music, and news channels, and each genre of music, sports and news has anywhere between 3-10 sub genres. They play ALL the NFL games, most major conference college games, and just about any talk show you can think of.

It's $10 to activate online, $12.95 month to month, about $120 for a year, and they have a promotion where you can get service for the life of your receiver for $499. No commercials...only a bit of DJ talk every 5 songs or so. Highly, highly recommend...especially with the holidays coming.

There is also XM radio (the original), but it is not as rich in standard programming, you have to pay premium for some, but it is cheaper for the service and components (unless you want premium content). I think Sirius is going to catch them.

By the way...the music is CD quality and the talk is FM quality. Also, Sirius uses 3 satellites to cover the country, while XM only uses two last I heard. You are less likely to hit dead spots in Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, or the UP of Michigan.
