I've been "out of the loop" for awhile and thought I'd see if there's an update on the status of the Talon "loose sheath" issues.

I posed this question quite awhile ago and you asked me to email you my shipping address so you could include me in the list when the new sheaths were ready.

I wasn't in any hurry at the time, but with elk bowhunting season coming up it felt like a good time to ask for an update.

Thanks! :)

Ric

Hi Ric - Will has been extremely busy as of late. In addition to his duties at Camillus, he is also teaching clay shooting classes on the weekends. Please be patient, he will answer your question next chance he gets.

I too am awaiting a replacement sheath for my Talon, and would be curious in an update on this as well.

I own a Talon, and have the same problem. I missed the origional thread. Can someone fill me in?

Thanks for letting me know, Dexter. I'll try to keep this reasonably bumped to the top until Will gets a chance to read it.

I'd hate to lose my Talonite Talon while bowhunting this year...I'm sure I'll be pretty paranoid if I can't get a new sheath by then.

I do not know if this helps you out or not but I have made quite a few sheaths for these little knives because the sheath is very loose all though it is of good quality I think Blade Tec made them. Some thing you can do to fix your sheath that you have all ready is to add some gromets closer to the opening on the top. You may use pop rivets but they will look ugly I hope this helps.

Guys,
I know I have not been around as much as normal lately, but we have been BUSY! Ric, send me an email at...

wfennell@rjsonline.net

and I will get you a new sheath out ASAP. The sheaths are of the same design, but BLADETECH has tightened them up quite a bit.

Dex, I'll get yours sent out tomorrow....

Take care guys....

Ric - I guess by now you have read the post in which Will says he is outta town...ouotta the country for that matter! Best thing to do if you haven't tried is to email him your phone number and he'll call you upon his return.

Yeah, I was hoping to get an update in between his trips out of town...I'm leaving on the 5th for my annual elk hunting trip. Hopefully the old sheath does it's job.
