Hello ladies and gents, Im looking for a fixed blade that I can stash away in my atv in case of emergency,
Like cutting a tow line when I'm stuck, maybe clearing some brush, camping, things of this nature.

Price is not a Concern, I want the right tool with me if I ever need it. I'll probably be buying something later this evening so that I will have it for next week end.
Thanks in advance for all your help.

Yes, the BK 9 looks nice to stick in the compartment on my atv....

So far that's a winner....

BK-9. Good choice.

Wow, just got back from atving, I got stuck in water, flooded my atv, had to use the Honda to tow it out , I could of used the bk9 today to clear out some small trees.

Snapped 1 tow line, luckily I had my sog tanto with me which is my beater. I was covered with sticky mud, had fun
But now I know I definitely need the bk9

Thanks a bunch guys

So, I was going to say, "get a BK9." But it looks like you have that covered....

We all used to carry the Ka Bar USMC knives when we used to go out ATV trail riding/ camping. They came in handy more than once.... I would carry my 9 now. I carry the 9 anytime I'm out wheeling in the Jeep or helping out my family on their property.

I actually really miss heading out on the ATV's for a few days to a week hopping from campsites to cheap motels or wherever until we were back around to the trucks.

Rule number 1) never go into water and not know the depth, the water was up to my seat. Lol
Rule number 2) always have a knife.

Funny the guys that were helping me, the one guy pulled out a kershaw, and that was it. We were talking about different knives while I was waist deep in water. All the people there were so Kool. couple of guys told me that I should stand the atv up front first to get the water out, so we lifted it up for a bit, and what do you know after a couple tries she started up again.
I had a blast.
