To make the auberins ramp slope pid controller manual? I would like to be able preset Target Temp and have it hold indefinitely. For instance set controller for 1925 degrees and once it reaches 1925 it holds that temperature until I stop the program

I have the same controller and am still learning it as well, maybe someone else can chime in with more experience, but can't you set your first step to ramp from ambient to 1925 in whatever time it takes your oven to get to that temp, let's say 45 min. And then your next step to have temp set at 1925 and time of 9999.
For example C01 = 1925 and T01 = 45 then for step 2 C02 = 1925 and T02 = 9999

I've got a few blades to HT today, I'll try a few programs and report back. By the way, are you using the Auberins SYL-2352P

I believe that is what I have. It's the ramp/soak PID WITHOUT built in SSR. I believe they only have one of those.

The way I understand it is CO-1= ambient (room) temperature (I use 70) TO-1= 45 (time in minutes to CO-2). CO-2= 1925, TO-2=1, CO-3=1925, TO-3=9999. I may have an extra step in there that I don't need but this is what works for me. I BELIEVE that this should take you from 70 degrees to 1925 in 45 minutes, hold for one minute then on to step 3 where you will hold at 1925 for 9999 minutes. I have used other controllers where each step takes you to a temperature and holds for a certain number of minutes then on to the next step. The Auber controller takes you FROM a temperature in each step, in a certain number of minutes, to the target temperature in the next step. Kind of backward thinking in my opinion but that is what we have to work with. Using Auber SYL-2352P

That's what my tests today also found. This is correct. Set C01 to something just below ambient then set T01 for the time it takes your oven to get to 1925. I'm not sure if the middle step is needed, I didn't use it and it seemed to work for me. Then set your next step to 1925 and a time of 9999 and it will hold until you stop the process by holding down the up button

The nice thing about these controllers is that they have 30 steps (segments). I have segments 1 through 5 dedicated to a certain program, segments 6 through 10 for a different program etc. If there are several programs that you use often you can set them up in advance, go to the first segment in the program you want to run and start it up. In other words, once you have programmed it properly, you shouldn't have to mess with it too often.
