Okay, next auction:

this one is for Evan, the son of baldeforums member, and all around good guy, Gradall5200. Here is his story: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1031092-Old-folders-for-Evan

All proceeds go to help Evan and his family, shipping is free in the USA, I'll ship the won items when I get confirmation of payment. Any questions, ask away. Bidding will end at noon EST on Friday.

1. A bunch of users
DSC02898_zps4eda6272.jpg

i think i have all the names and makes right (from top to bottom):
1. imperial barlow, old, used,
2. Colonial, Forest Master, used
3. Imperial, Electricians knife (broken spring on the spear baled)
4. Kutmaster, t29?, electricians knife

Please take the picture as description of condition, some of them like the forest master and barlow could go straight into edc rotation, I wouldn't say that about the others, but that might just be me.

Well I asked Grandall about doing an auction and he said not to give away any of my "good knives" but I think all knives are good...or the ones you see on BF at least :), but I though of this little crew of "project knives I have. So far I have not found the time to do anything with them so they may as well get auctioned of to others who might, and others who will do a better job then I surely would :p

All the springs and locks work accept for the spear blade on the Imperial electrician, that swings in and out as it pleases. All are in rough or very used condition, and look fantastic with age. :)

Lets see if we can't auction off the lot to start with, eh?

Bidding begins at $15

2. Leather man PST from the 1995)?)

It's also a user, in fact the file tool has been snapped in half, but everything works and works smoothly, I have taken care of it since I found it in a a flea market and it has been my truck companion long enough it needs some better company :)

Edit: Just thought, I have a user SAk silver alox cadet in my running bag, haven't seen it in a while but I'm sure I can clean it up, but ti's condition will be what it is, a user. :p I'm going to say it's a gift for whoever wins the PST, it's an ideal edc size sak with a lot of strength and uses for it's size. I'll get a picture up when I can.

bidding starts at $5

3. Ka-Bar Becker 16, rehandled, by me, in walnut and brass pins
104_0643.jpg

Kabar bk16, used but in good shape, stripped, rehandled in English walnut, with a sheath also made by me. I have the original box, and the tan scales whcih come with it. For my money (especially considering the cost of these things) it's about as perfect a production wood/hike/bum around knife s you can get. plus, carbon steel and a knife maker, Mr. Ethan Becker, who is a member here on BF! i may just buy another one...one day :p

this has been my "in a bag knife" often and for a while now, there was a slight problem with the grind at the ti 9a chip) so i got a steal on it, don't think you'd notice it now and it's sharp. The handle is a later effort then the lrk plus int he other thread, so it is a bit better, but it has some warts (a glue line here or there, and a I drilled the hole in the wrong place on the rear pin and had to adjust so there's a slight gap next tot he pin (doesn't effect anything, scales are firm, smooth and very comfortable.) I used the pattern of the standard scales and have just about the same contours etc on it, though maybe a bit thicker because that was more comfortable. hadn't thought of selling it, but thought I'd prod things along. :)

I'll try and get better pictures before Friday, but here's some more for now:

honestly I am pretty proud of this one :)

Bidding starts at $45

I may find more, I'm actually trying to brace myself for a necessary/maybe I only need users sale but there are some old friends you just don't want to sell for money alone, so I want them to do some good as well. I'm gratefully to all of you who help me out by bidding, and help these kids and their family's.

Bids are started low so everyone may have a chance, I know I rarely have enough money to do much but always like to run up a bid if nothing else (sorry those who bought them :))

Hopefully i may find some more here while I try to ween the can't live without to the I'll die without :)

I'll leave it up to KYenglish, but I"m fine with it if you just send the money to gradall5200 and have the knife sent to you. That way we save some wear on tear on KYenglish.

I'll send the money tomorrow. I'm stuck at a boring wedding right now, currently listening to some God awful best man speeches. Thx again for the auction KY. I'm keeping this one though. I love leathermans. Gradall, God bless you and your son

no worries Joliet Jeff, I feel your pain (although I'm glad to hear the free bar is making it passable) let me know your shipping info when you can and I'll get it out to you)
