I attended a dinner/auction last night and this knife was an auction item----

Custom made demascus with whitetail antler handle--- The pics don't show the entire story. You could fit a credit card between the antler and the blade material. The top pic -- The scales were that mis aligned! WHy in the world would you half ass a knife and donate it to auction?
 
Sorry, I guess I'm such a noob that I don't get your sarcasm.

This knife was horrible.
 
Wow - I am surprised that someone would put that out there. It's better than anything I could do, but that is saying very little.

It's kind of a shame that they wasted those nice scales.

How much did it sell for?

$60, but it was suppose to be a demascus, but NO WAY was it a real demascus. I wish I took better pics of the blade. It was truely laughable.
