What to do.....

Knife Day is the day to appreciate the knives that folk use on a daily basis. This day is a celebration of this marvellous tool that has been with humans since the dawn of time. The evolution of knives has been a remarkable feat – from knives made of bone, stone and flint, to modern creations using titanium, bronze, iron and steel. Nobody can deny the knife is one of man’s most useful tools – for cooking, eating, fishing, hunting, and not to forget the oh so handy Swiss Army knife. To make the most of Knife Day, why not test your knife chopping skills in the kitchen, or buy that knife set you’ve always wanted. Invite family and friends over to compare and swap knives, or get together to clean and sharpen your knives. Then there’s nothing like having a cake and enjoying a slice by the knife. And instead of wishing one another to have a nice day, why not just say: “Have a knife day!”

Which came first? The knife which inadvertently lead to the development of the spearhead, or the spearhead which inadvertently lead to the development of the knife?
I suspect the knife was first. They already had clubs to kill their food. So, they needed something to open their food with.

To celibrate National Knife Day, I think I'll put both a 110 and 119 on my belt, "just because I can." :D

Wow, I'm surprised such a day exist with how taboo many places / people seem to have made them.

I'm glad to know such a day exists, there's more than one on me every single day but maybe I'll fill my cargo pockets to the brim on national knife day :D

Be on the lookout for good sales and free stuff with the purchase of knives on this day! Online of course. I am on several dealer email lists, including Buck. I hope we see some good stuff.

Happy Knife day in advance!

Sorry, I decided to remove the video link. I don't want to get in trouble.

I think I will honor this day by touching up my EDC's and giving them some spit and polish. Actually, just a tiny amount of good oil.

PS. Remove any lint with tooth pick also.

I received an email from Ruger announcing National Knife Day (and offering to sell me one of their Ruger branded knives). I celebrated by carring and using my Buck 110 Pro and Buck 303 Cadet. OH

Yes it was an awesome National Knife day. I spent the day with a Para Pro in my pocket and an Alaskan Guide 110 on my belt. I was sporting them with me at the range today!

Dang JB, you're right, National Knife Day demands a picture (nice S&W by the way). Being as Ruger let me know about the day I'll share it with them - Ruger DA 44 SPCL and Buck 110 Folding Hunter Pro. OH
