August challenge pics.. I hope

Good pix man! Without narration and captions everything was still pretty well understood.

I have no idea how to get the captions on there and I noticed I didnt put any pics of my completed shelter. My son and I went out together and had a blast! we were a little low for the huckelberries at this time of year so we didnt get many as you can see. He did condense water off those bushes, it took about 2 hours to get the water in the cup but it worked great! we also found a small mountain moose watering hole we got water from and boiled it. To be honest we only made it 32 hours because we got so hungry. I learned more in those 32 hours about survival than from all the books I own. Plus spending time in the woods with my 22 year old boy was the absolute highlight of my summer! Thanks Moose

Those were some great shots, hope you had fun. Nice work using the sheath to blow on the cherry you used to do the spoon bowl.

Awesome stuff, brother. Looks like ya'll had a blast.

I'm happy ya'll spent some time out.

Great work.

My Program runs 365 so I didn't get a chance to get out with my old man this summer.:thumbdn::(

These two sentences here are all the motivation needed for someone to do the next challenge or any challenge for that matter. It's all about family and experiences and when you can marry those to nature it's a grand thing!

Great post, glad you enjoyed the time with your son.
They grow up so fast, It is, at times, painful.

Great pictures, glad you got to spend some good father son time. I'm 25 myself, and I know that I still love that father-son time, doing projects, exploring etc. It always makes me think back to being a kid, even after we're grown up, we still get a kick out of learning from dad :D.

Great pics and a great time. The highlight of my year is the annual camping trip with my son.

IG, email me your address, I'm gonna send you and your son something for the effort.
