There is a kind of fullering that I absolutely adore. It is from a German swordmaking tradition of the late middle ages. I don't know the exact name for it, but I might call it "scaled fullering." Instead of several long, straight fullers, there are many small fullers in a 2-3-2 pattern. I would go bananas if the kamis could put this on some of their swords....
