AUS10 is good boogie to me. I have a blade in AUS10. I've never done any real testing, but as an EDC, I find the edge holding to be in the same league as 440C and VG10. It is a notch above AUS8 in edge retension.
Takes a very fine edge. About the same effort to get that edge as with VG10. The fine edge is more effort to get than AUS8, but the resulting edge is just as fine.
Based on my own experience, I would definitely consider another blade in AUS10. Go for it!.:thumbup:
