Aus-6m

I believe that it's just AUS-6 combined with molybdenum. I'm no steel knut though. As far as the steel goes, I have no problem with AUS-6 as long as it has a decent heat treat (ex, spyderco).

It's not the highest performing steel out there, but it is a very serviceable steel, easy to sharpen and takes a good edge.
