A couple of pics of an old Australian Hytest axe. Found under one of our sheds as a rusting piece of metal.
Until a few weeks ago it had been sitting on my work-shop windowsill. As shown, the side it was lying on is very pitted. I am happy with the end result though. Can shave with this old girl.
Hytest always brings fond memories. As a young man I worked for the Queensland forestry dept. The axes supplied were Hytest.
