Hi Everyone,
Just got a Medieval axe with a spike made by an Australian Knifemaker called Joe Zemitis. It's a forged one and och! Sharp
I dont know any names for its parts. It's a beaut.
Joe got two nice pieces I'd love to get hold of, a Hawk with a octagonal shaped hammer at the back and a carved handle... Hmmmm That one is Australian $300 which I think is U.S.$150.
Then there's a Damascus Viking Fighting Axe, single edged and a carved handle as well. That one was Aus $600 thats US $300. Are they good prices or about normal?
Don't have any pic's wouldn't know how to post them any how. But if you want to check out Joe's work, he got a couple of his previous axes on his web site "J & J Zemitis" , gallery section. Just follow the links.
