Aussie Pink Floyd show?

Anybody been to this show? My Son told me about this show, and others have raved about it, too. Supposedly, this tribute band is so good, that even the members of Pink Floyd are supporters and fans. I guess I'll find out Friday, as I snagged some good seats to the St. Louis show(11th row, center). Now, if I can only avoid that strange cloud of funny smelling smoke that'll be circling around my head all night!

They just played a couple of weeks ago at the Youngstown Convention Center(Ohio),I didn't go but my nephew did and he said they rocked and they are endorsed by the Originals.Good luck keepin' yer' head outta' the smoke,funny shtuff happens.

If they are the same band I saw in Ireland about ten years ago then close your eyes and you'd swear it was the Original band! They are the business!

Ahh, first Bjorn Again (the Abba tribute band), then the ACDC tribute band(who's name I forget) and now this. Anyone who says us Aussies aren't at the cutting edge of world music just doesn't know culture

and this from the same nation that gave you all Air Supply, INXS, Rolf Harris and neighbours.

Ming, talking of tribute bands, did you ever see the Australian Doors? I never did but friends who'd seen them said they were pretty good.

No Oz - I remember seeing posters for their tour a year or so back but didn't see them. There is also a Queen tribute band doing the rounds here and they are getting similiar reviews. People who have seen them reckon the lead singer is channelling Freddie Murcury.

Well, I just got back from the show, and I gotta say that these boys ROCK! :thumbup:

They were so good, I find it hard to believe the actual Pink Floyd band would perform any better. Frikkin amazing guitarists!
