Austin/Central TX Knifemaker help

I would like to find a knife-maker in the Austin/Central Texas area that would be willing to trade some shop help for knife-making lessons. I work in the music and event industry and this time of year things are very slow and I have too much time on my hands. I have experience working with generators and portable HVAC equipment. I can service diesel engines, drive a forklift and reach lulls. When I work with the generators I have to pull trailers and drive 26' straight trucks. I could help you clean, repaint or remodel your shop. I can help you at shows ( I have about a dozen knives I want to sell also). I just got a criminal background check from the state ( no arrest or convictions!), been sober for over 20 years and willing to take a drug test.
