This guy is destined for greatness. I saw this knife in the exchange and it very closely fit the style that I'm going for... "Tactical/Traditional" which means that it's capable of offensive/defensive use but doesn't look like a weapon. In fact, the micarta scales were so highly polished that I had to groove them for maximum traction.

Love his work. Own one and have almost pulled the trigger on others. His kydex is is also excellent.

I like how you carved in the grooves, makes it look you have made it your own by adding your special touch to it. Good job.

Austin makes great knives for great prices. I'm a repeat customer of his and want more!

Once I decide to pull the trigger on a fixed blade, it will be a Goldman. I'm very much impressed with his work. Seems like it has been a while since he posted some new knives for sale, though. Hopefully, that means he's so busy making knives that he's too busy for the forum!

I have one of his knives and I would buy more. His designs are simple and direct which is a good thing. And his service is good. I wish he would post total blade length in his ads instead of cutting edge length, I might suggest that to him.

I own a couple and both are remarkable. I took the blade to some hardwood on the worksite and not a roll or chip. It's been fun to watch is progression.

He definitely makes a great knife for the money. Been using one with a 5 inch blade he made around the farm and it has held up so far. Planning on using it when hunting later this year.

He just posted a couple this morning! He has an email list if you want to be notified when new ones are up for sale. Just PM him you email address and ask to be put on the list, and you'll be all set.
