I bought a chunk of Australian red mallee burl wood and am going to cut it up into some scales and blocks and was wondering if anyone has any experience working with this wood? Should I send it off for stabilizing or is it good to go in it's natural state? Heres a pic of it, it sure is nice with lots of figure and color in it.
