Australia Day

Today, Jan 26 (here in Oz), it is Australia Day.

It's the day you get a few friends and/or relatives around, fire up the BBQ and grab a beer, or maybe go out to one of the thousands of events happening everywhere.

It was pleasing to see that trooper Mark Donaldson, who recently received a Victoria Cross for his bravery in Afghanistan, was selected as Young Australian of the Year for 2010.
