Authentic or Clone Benchmade?

I bought this used on the exchange. The action and lockup are great and it seem authentic to me. Another knife guy says it’s a clone due to the way the axis lock and box look. What do you all think?

Well the fact that you bought it here lends one to believe it's real. It also looks just like my Rift, box and all, and mine is real. Use and enjoy

Looks like my rift, aside from mine having a cerakote blade. Box has a date on it, which clones don't from what I've seen. Looks authentic to me. The Rift is a great knife, with pretty slicey geometry. Great blade/handle ratio too! Use it and enjoy it!

I have one I bought from Benchmade. It looks Identical to yours: including the box. I have a little silk bag with a drawstring it came in and a couple tags, but if you bought yours 2nd hand, they likely went to the original buyer. I'd say she's real. It's a great knife. I really like mine. Just watch if you carry it daily as the pocket clip comes to a fairly sharp point. i rounded mine off a bit. Spyderco seems to be the only company who has figured out sharp clips wreck upholstery and other things.....
